The entrance to the gite is festooned with colourful hanging baskets baskets and window boxes.
This traditional farmhouse cottage has been renovated and refurbished with considerable style by Jasmine who has tried to anticipate the needs of all her guests, never forgetting the kids.  Considerate  little touches are everywhere but her passion has been in the creation of a truly superb studio/playroom that brings squeals of delight from her tiny visitors.  Older children have not been forgotten - it also houses table tennis, lots of board games, a library and a Yamaha keyboard.

CHEZ JASMINE is situated on the edge of a sleepy village in the heart of the beautiful Vallee de la Course.  Only 10 minutes away is the ancient fortified town of  Montreuil  s/Mer awash with good restaurants and excellent shopping.  A further 15 minute's scenic drive is the stylish beach &  golfing  resort of Le Touquet and the Opale coast with a good choice of alternative family-friendly beaches.

Cycles and maps are included in the cost of the rental (in typical Jasmine style one is a tandem) to encourage you to explore the surrounding country lanes passing through fields of wild flowers.

On the  ground floor is a traditional layout of a double aspect sejour with comfortable seating/TV
at one end and a well fitted kitchen at the other.

There is a small table and chairs in the kitchen area useful for the children or preparing and a 
completely independent and very charming dining room beyond.

At the back of the Sejour entered via the dining room is a  door to  a tiled patio with BBQ.

Family Bathroom: Also on the ground floor is a good size bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC.

Bedrooms are on the first floor.


                                                                First double 
A roomy double at the front of the house with a romantic view over the tiled roof tops of the little village.  This room is fitted with a pedestal basin.

The second bedroom is also a double.  A little smaller but well furnished and equally attractive.

                                       Twin room
The third bedroom is a twin bedded room.   Again with a fitted basin, there is also space for a baby's cot which is provided or a fold up bed for a 7th person if required.  As this bedroom is usually occupied by children Jasmine has added decorative and furnishing touches to make any child feel at home and very special.  

In the hallway is a 2nd WC to save on trips down the staircase in the middle of the night.

The 'piece de resistance' of the cottage is undoubtedly the large and superbly equipped studio  
playroom for the kids.  Here Jasmine has really enjoyed herself fitting it out with everything 
from a painter's corner to dressing up cupboard.  There are loads of toys, games, books, even a Yamaha keyboard to keep kids of all ages amused and for some of them, so I am told - very difficult to leave!

At the back of the gite accessed by a side path from the front entrance is a lovely garden with seating and an old fashioned swing hung from the branch of an apple tree.

                                         
Jasmine lives in the farmhouse next to the cottage.  Never intrusive but close at hand to help out if needed.   Her early training first as a nurse then an airline stewardess and later stewardess instructor has stood her in good stead as a practiced host.
  

A place for everything and everything in its place the cottage has been carefully arranged and furnished with the comfort of all her guests, big and little, in mind. 

French born Jasmine speaks English fluently as she lives for most of the year in England with her pilot husband who 'flies' in and out over the summer months.  Both are experienced and convivial hosts who enjoy looking after their guests.   

There is a small self service store and a good boulangerie only a minute's walk from the cottage.
For major shopping there is a LeClerc hypermarket, Aldi & Champion supermarkets, and an assortment of other small shops just a 10 min drive away at the foot of Montreuil sur Mer.  

For something really special DO NOT miss: 
the strawberry farm just up the hill behind the cottage.  You can pick your own or buy from the farmhouse THE most delicious strawberries you have ever tasted.  Pale in colour but bursting with their own unique flavour they are truly in a class of their own.

Starting 2012 Chez Jasmine will be available and from early June to mid September.
